Seriously?!

I have to admit I check Craigslist daily...ok hourly.

You just never know what you will find in their free section.

I dare you to try it out yourself.

I promise you will be surprised what people are giving away for free.

Sometime good surprised sometimes bad surprised.

Yesterday I came across this ad on Craigslist.

Just in case you can't read that is says:

Partial remains of a Unicorn.
Would like to trade for any items of your choosing.
downtown, Thursday, June 24th, early evening.
You do not have to disclose what you would like to exchange for the bits that are left of this mystical beast!

Really?!

Please tell me no one believes this!

But I have to admit I wish I could go downtown to where they will be to see if anyone took the bait.

Have you all seen anything crazy on craigslist?

  1. HAHAHAAAA!! I am rolling right now! That is hysterical, seriously!

Ok, let me catch my breath...sheesh...anyway, thanks for the loving comment on my post. Yes, I LOVE to encourage! Definitely one of my spiritual gifts is correct : )

It's funny you say that because I was just thinking about doing a post on knowing what your spiritual gifts are. I thought it was pretty cool that you mentioned it! Oh, and how sweet that your mom was wondering if we were actually more than "blog" friends, haha. I'm amazed my comments even stood out from so many other peoples! Wow. Tell her that made me feel special : ).

I love thinking of our parents praising together. What a beautiful thought to behold, friend. And we'll be WITH them praising someday, won't we Katie girl? Yes, we will! Amen to that : ) Love it.

Well, hope your'e having a wonderful day in the Lord. Lots of love to you always.

    Laura xoxo

  3. Okay, thats hillarious at face value but it sounds like code for trading drugs for sex to me. Don't ask me why and seriously my mind doesn't go there naturally but this sounds so crazy that it has to be code for something. I have a friend who is a narcotics agent, I'm going to ask just for kicks. I'll write you back when I find out! ;-)

  5. That's hilarious! The funniest thing I have found for free was a bag of mismatched socks. Some had holes in them. Ummm, okay... :) Sock puppets?

  7. Btw, I do a Weekly Craig's List Series on my blog and at the end I always share the funny things I come across. Last week was a Funeral Director's Yearbook and Embalming Machine. Came with the make-up for dead bodies.....

  9. I'm going with the drugs for sex theory! I don't know about Craigs list, it kind of scares me. I would definitely not buy or sell anything unless I had a guy around! Listen if you do go downtown and you do meet this person be sure to post the unicorn parts!!

  10. Hello! I found you from Posh Pieces. How fun that you're into Craig's List. I've never even looked at Craig's List. I wouldn't know where to begin. But you may have convinced me that it's worth figuring it out. Fun! Lisa~

We are two loving people looking to adopt a real live fire-breathing dragon to protect our cardboard fort. Must be an indoor dragon that has been housebroken with his fire breathing skills, a vegetarian, and is very intimidating yet friendly. Prefer a dragon that is named Clark, but not a deal-breaker. Also, Clark should be able to fly (flyless dragon owners need not apply).

We’re also on the market for a steed. Will trade three Ball canning jars, a genie that grants 4 wishes, nine #2 pencils, and one Nike Air Force 1 shoe for miniature horse. Mini horse should be no taller than 14 inches high, and be able to carry a 200+ lbs grown man. Will pay extra for saddle, knight armor (Size: XL), and eight foot lance.

Will pay in cash OR with 2 big hugs followed by 1 small hug and two kitty cat wacks to the face.

  12. Yes! I saw where a man was looking for a dead ring-tailed dove. He seriously wanted to trade his wife's live one for a dead one because the bird drove him crazy. Hilarious stuff on CraigsList!
