Good idea or Bad Idea?

The time has come.

Our property tax has gone up...a lot.

Now there is no way around it.

I need a job that actually pays in bills rather then in snot and slobbery kisses.

So tonight Mr. Genius put the boys in the car and we drove around and picked up these.




Here is my thinking. If I have to leave my family, I want to go to a place that I will love to go and find inspiration.

Well that is my excuse anyways to picking up applications to Hobby Lobby, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, and Home Goods.

Only time will tell if this will actually help us or hurt us.

    You know how I feel about retail, but you're more of a people person than I am, so you may like it! Plus, you gotta do what you gotta do! Good luck on your job hunt!

    And I just had a thought...I should tell Andrew I want to work at Anthro so that I have an excuse to go pick up an "application" AKA peruse the sales rack. Hmm...

    As a person whose jobs have only been at FUN places, let me tell you it "costs money" to have those kind of jobs. I am sure I spend more than I earn....good luck!!!!

    ooohhhh... My paycheck would all go back into those places!
    I used to sell Southern Living at HOME and good grief- I never made a profit after the first 3 months! I was buying too much stuff of my own!

    Well, retail is not for me. It never fail that I spent my money back at work. Granted, I got my beautiful Bedroom set from it but still.
    Best of luck, I know it must have been hard to get to that decision.
