Scotch Blue 3m Painters Tape Giveaway

I have had kind of a love/hate relationship with painters tape ever since we owned our first home and I picked up my first paint brush.

When it worked great I love that it helped me keep a straight line about the trim, but most of the time it was more work then what it was worth.

    we are moving and hoping to alleviate our security deposit by painting the condo...with really high ceilings i might add.

    I have a list of rooms I want to tackle: the mudroom (soon to be craft room!), laundry room, living room...you name it, I want to paint it! LOL I JUST did our formal dining room, so THAT room is safe for now! =)

    I'm in the process of convincing my husband that we should darken all our oak, and dump the beige walls for sunny yellow throughout our whole main floor. Could definitely use some good tape!

    omw! I just started down the paint trail. it took me 4 days to paint my daughter's old room from purple and lime green to white. I will be using it for my craft room. Confession: I did not tape at all. Like so you on other paint project it was a wist of time, and because I have lots of storage/furniture/craft STUFF I'm hoping no one will notice.
    However, my list of upcoming projects include two bathrooms, down stair and up stair hallways, laundry room and basement. If I want it to look better than my craft room, I will surely have to use tape.Thanks for a chance win Scotch's Painter Tape with Edge Lock Paint Line Protector!

    My husband and I just bought a 1906 Queen Elizabeth Victorian house. Everyone room in the 3,300 sq. ft house needs to be painted. Needless to say , we are going to go through a LOT of tape. :)

    I could use this when I repaint the master bedroom from a very pale green to a beautiful gray. Lots of doors, lots of windows, lots of trim that all need their lines protected.

    Perfect timing for us, since we are planning on painting our bathroom using that shading striping technique that needs LOTS of tape.

    It's time to paint the upstairs TV room and extra bathroom. I always tape the moldings and the ceiling so having free tape would be a big help!!

    Wow... I will be doing my kitchen soon and living room. I have always used painters tape on the molding and such. Still a pain with popcorn ceilings! Anyone have a trick for that?

    We are in the process of painting our entire downstairs. It is quite the project! Sure could use some free painter's tape :)
    On another note, I sure could use you moving back to Nashville, so I could commission you to paint some furniture for me. I am not handy/crafty that way AT ALL!

    Sooo many projects...so little time!! We will be painting our bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, as well as putting up and painting board and batten in the coming weeks!!! Could definitely use some painters tape for these projects!!

    Well, we are moving and I have promised 3/4 of the blessings to paint their rooms PURPLE/GREEN, PINK, and PURPLE.... respectively.... not to mention a few furniture items I have my talents waiting to tackle.... a family room, and a master bath.... then the baby might like to have new paint in her room (sage green).... etc. You get the idea!

    i don't actually use painter's tape when painting walls- just carefully cut in with an angle brush. BUT, i always use scotch blue on my furniture projects where i add designs like stripes or diamonds or chevron!

    Thank you SO much for the kind words you left on my blog. They mean very much to me. I am thankful to have made so many meaningful relationships through blogging. I had no idea I would meet and connect with so many caring people!

    I totally understand about waiting on another pregnancy. I was a little apprehensive about it myself at first. It's definitely been an emotional roller coaster at times. I'm sure the hormones aren't helping!

    I suppose I finally came to a place where I felt like life needed to go on. I know my mom would want me to have more kids. It's still not the same without her though.

    I still think of you often, and I hope things are going well for you and your family. You're all in my prayers!

    I have a few places I need to paint, but the place I'd probably paint first is our stairwell to the basement. The previous owners had it painted 3(!) different shades of white, and it would be nice if it was all one color instead. :)

    There is a lot of things you can do with painters tape besides painting. I used some recently to help me baste a quilt. Ha!

    I'd save this painters tape for when we move as I KNOW we'll probably have to paint! Ha!

    I need to paint both my kids rooms. We moved in almost 6 years ago and the youngest child still has a nursery theme (he's almost 6) and my oldest now 7 wants a black room??? we won't do that but something simialr?!?

    I love the 3M blue painter's tape! I use it every time I paint, although it's been a while since I've tackled a big project....not that my old house doesn't need it! I live in an 1893 Victorian, and the room that probably needs a makeover the most is the bathroom on the third floor. Someone put up some tacky floral wallpaper in the 80s and it's begun to peel and discolor. A fresh coat of paint would make all the difference in the world!
