This week's theme at the CSI project is Martha Stewart!
I love me some Martha Stewart crafts.
So I saw this picture and I knew just what to do!
Well it is pretty self explanatory... and that is what I like.
I got my frames.
I got my primer
Then I got my green spray paint.
Then I got my glaze out.
I forgot to take a picture of this process.
But I channeled my inner karate kid and wiped on and wiped off.
I am sure you get the idea.
The frame details really popped with the glaze
I heart that frame.
Now where to put them?...
I thought about the foyer going up the stairs, but decided I didn't have enough frames for it to look good.
So I decided to put them in the guest bedroom.
I always put that room to last. I don't know why.
So here is what the guest room looks like before.
and here it is with my new frames!
I can't wait to see all the Martha inspired projects this week!
I will also posting to these parties.
The karate kid comment, hahaha, you are crackin' me up! I love your sense of humor. I also LOVE your frames! Soooo pretty! Have a great night, girl. Lots of love to you : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous wall! I am taking this idea from you and Martha and doing this on my bedroom wall over my dresser. I need something but didn't want just some more art. Thanks for sharing!

Those look amazing! You really did an outstanding job. You are really talented. I {{heart}} anything design/decor related. It has truly become a passion of mine over the last few years, especially since I became sick and began spending most of my time confined to my bed/recliner. It helps brighten up my day.
I'm stopping by from SITS. You were above me in roll call and I'm really glad! I wanted to say hello and share some comment lo♥e.
I really love your blog, especially the name! It sounds, oh, so familiar. *sigh* I just became your newest 'Follower' and can't wait to read more of your posts. I enjoy to meeting new bloggers, especially fellow sisters in Christ. I would be really honored if you would take a few minutes to check out my blog and follow me, too, if you like what you see.
Have a really wonderful week!
Blessings,
