Okay 1)I need stencils! I want to stencil the back panel of a hutch that is sitting in my garage. I can't decide if I'd choose damask Anna,Verde, or Flora. They are all so pretty. 2) I'm already a follower :) and 3) This is the best 4th of July ever because my brother and wife announced they are expecting their first baby! Christa~
I'm Canadian, so our national birthday is July 1st...that said, today is my dad's birthday, so I spent the 4th enjoying a birthday party for both him and my step-mom (her birthday is later this week). Awesome day with family.
Last entry...those stencils are amazing, so it's hard to choose just one. It's a little intimidating, but I think the old tree mural stencil is beyond gorgeous.
Hey Katie...4th went well, just hung out at home with Steve, my sister and the baby. I never did email you pics of the house, I will have to do that soon. Hope all is well with you and "Mr Genius".
Nice work!! i LOVE the colors you cose, and the handles and everything. It just turned out so darling... Visiting from Metamorphis Monday justsewsassy.com
Our 4th was awesome. Went to church in the morning, had a BBQ. Got to take a power nap and then headed to the Pentagon to watch the DC fireworks. Wonderful day.
My 4th was uneventful, church & then work. We celebrated on the 3rd. After getting off work we headed back up to the waterpark for lots of fun. Then went from there to our cities fireworks. Of course I spent most of my time running the big girls back & forth across the 4 lane busy road to go to the potty b/c they drank huge bottles of juice after the waterpark. We had lots of fun and made memories.
We spent Sunday (my only day off) shopping a bit for our trip on Thursday then headed to the military base to enjoy junk food, funnel cakes and fireworks. It was a good old time!
Our 4th of July wasn't overly exciting on the actual day, but the weekend has been filled with tons of family time, meeting my cousin's baby for the first time, and packing for our California vacation! That dresser is too cute - I'm jealous!
I would definitely pick Spring Songbirds from Cutting Edge if I won this giveaway. It would be perfect for decorating above the bed in our master bedroom. Gorgeous!
How does anyone choose?! They're all gorgeous. I love the Iris Swirl stencil, but the Japanese Maple Branch stencil is my favorite (because it looks just like our JM!).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how your dresser turned out! I spent my 4th of July shopping at Goodwill, luckily they were open til 6pm cause I didn't think they'd be open at all.
(hmm, I don't see my 4th of July comment) I deleted my last comment just incase, cause I don't want to look greedy! I love your blog and the dresser turned out perfect!! I spent my 4th of July shopping at Goodwill and got tons of deals! I was pleased to see them open til 6pm, as I thought they wouldn't be open at all!
I really love how your dresser turned out! So unique and adorable at the same time. ;) Our 4th was perfect - picking strawberries and eating hamburgers and relaxing.
Found your blog off of Kat's a few months ago and I'm HOOKED! You are so talented and inspire me to tackle on new projects! With a new baby girl on the way, I would so love a stencil for her room! We had a great 4th with my sister's family, watching the kids play out in the yard and "oooh and aaah" over the fireworks!
We had a wonderful 4th. My husband's family whom we haven't seen in about 3 years came for a visit. It was fabulous to see all the cousins playing together.
I love this dresser and the whole set up you have going on.
I would love to enter your drawing for it too sooo...
My fourth went great and everyone still has all their fingers! My two year old is sad that there won't be anymore booms and pops though. He thought they were pretty cool!

We got lucky and managed to get our vehicle repaired and ended the day on a better note...even though we missed the fireworks. But we had watched some the night before so it was all good and the kids were satisfied with that:)
{GASP!} I love love LOVE this stencil you used on the little dresser! How stinking cute! There wasn't too much celebration on Independence Day for me.. Love the green on the dresser... it's just the shade that graces my living walls, window curtains and threatens to overtake my home. I love it. I've so shied away from painting old furniture and you make it seem approachable. Gotta follow another wise cracker like me, you make me laugh. LOL!
For my 4th my boyfriend came to town and we spent the evening with his family at his sister's boss's lake house. It was beautiful and we got to watch fireworks out of a wall of windows instead of getting bit up all night by buggies!
I love the Garden Bird Stencils! http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/bird-stencils-wall-stencil.html?category_id=1009
