I don't have much furniture and everything I have was given to me for free. Which means nothing matches. So... ALL OF IT. I have a dresser in particular I'd love to refinish.
I've been checking your blog for months now & at last I'm an official follower :) I LOVE your posts - they add so much to my day! juliebellelove@yahoo.com
The first piece of furniture I would paint is a small dresser/armoire that my grandpa made for my mom when she was a little girl. Somehow I ended up with it. It's very plain & needs some TLC. My mom is totally on board with me to spruce it up so we can use it & hopefully highlight somewhere in our house.
I'm now a follower of Altr'd. Thanks for sharing this blog with us! She really is amazing! I especially love what she's done with the chalkboard paint on the dresser - VERY clever!! juliebellelove@yahoo.com
I would love to refinish our living room coffee table. We found it on the curb and the finish has buckled...but the colour is perfect, so I've been afraid to touch it!
I have an old vanity that I would refinish into a sewing table. Or an ancient, brassy ceiling fan that needs some love - Does that count as furniture??? :)
Ooooo... I really need her help! I've painted furniture before and NEVER thought it worked out right. I would love to paint an old headboard and dresser for my daughter's room.
I'm actually in the middle of refinishing my dining room buffet. But, I'm stuck... I've got the paint but I have NO IDEA how to do or what to get for the glaze. This book would be perfect!

I want to refinish an old dresser and turn it into an entertainment center for us. We still have one of the old "monster" TVs that weigh too much for any TV stand now.
I want to paint the two library cases holding my DVDs. Since buying a new TV stand, they don't match but I love them. All they need is paint and all I need is a tutorial. Or a book :-)
I've been following (and loving) your blog for a couple of months now but it was just last week when I discovered Altar'd. Wow, it's a definite new fave 'o mine! I've done my fair share of painting furniture (I'm a serious thrifter.) but Mandie really brings it a step further and I'd love to know how. What I'd most like to learn from her is how she glazes, that and the prep work. My upcoming paint project consists of 3 old upholstered chairs that were left in a rental house. The free price tag was just right and I'm ready to perform a transformation! meglynvh@aol.com
Man, I have so many projects to paint I don't know which one to pick for first, but I guess the one I really need to do is an old mirror from the top of an old pump organ that my parents had for over 60 years and it is in awful shape. I need to do some thing with it and painting is the only answer.
I would refinish my big huge craft desk! Its just a very old single coat of white now....
