So sorry for your loss -- I think this is such an awesome and self-less giveaway!! Keep us in the loop on your ash-spreading adventure!

If you can't get into the golf course legitimately to sprinkle a few ashes, maybe a hot air balloon ride over the venue would be a good option.

I'm a follower and this is a great giveaway. I keep saying that we need to make a will but just haven't gotten it done yet.

Maybe you should plan a little late night "navy seals" type mission. Just don't get caught!

You could rent a helicopter and "drop" them into the hole.

I saw your blog featured on Remodelaholic and wanted to post some info on Augusta National. The only time I can recommend to go would be during the Masters...

There are ways that you can go to Augusta and watch the famed golf tournament for free.

Wait Outside The Gates. If you do not mind missing some of the morning rounds of golf, you can stand on the sidewalk outside the main gates of Augusta National golf course and wait for people to leave. Most people who come early in the morning, leave around noon or in the early afternoon and never come back to the golf course. A lot of people simply ask ticket holders for their entry passes after they are done with them and walk in for a few hours to see some of the golfing greats on the fabled course.

Volunteer To Work. Several of my friends have worked at the tournament for years picking up trash on the golf course. If you do not mind wearing those “cool” white jumpsuits like a caddie, you too can see the Masters and get paid for it!

Tickets to the practice rounds at Augusta National Golf Club are distributed by a lottery system, and individuals must reapply for the lottery each year.

There is a little bit of a process involved to get on the mailing list.

To be added to the Practice Rounds mailing list for 2011, send your name, address, daytime telephone number, email address, and last four digits of your social security number to:

Masters Tournament
Practice Rounds
PO Box 2047
Augusta, GA 30903-2047

It is best if you ask to be added to the lottery’s mailing list in a formal, well-typed letter stating that you would like to see the practice rounds of the tournament and include the required information listed above in your letter to Augusta National.

What a wonderful service they provide- that's very reasonable.

I can't tell you how to get into the masters, sorry. ;)

Thanks for visiting me on my SITS day last Monday!
