Only 6 more months til Christmas

My mom is in town! My mom is in town!

As soon as she arrived, the boys bombarded her and then ran around in circles screaming in delight announcing to the whole world of her arrival.

Once we put them down for naps then it was my turn to bombard her and run around screaming.

I heard of a festival in our downtown area where all the shops mark their stuff 50% off and have a sidewalk sale.

We were totally there!

Don't you worry, we didn't leave the boys at home alone. Mr. Genius was working from home.

When we arrived at the festival, we walked passed a couple of booths and then we got to one that had Christmas items.

It was like a moth to the flame.

We went straight to it.

One thing you should know about my mom and I.


We LOVE Christmas decor.

It is an obsession really.



Some people collect dolls, figurines, furniture.... we collect Christmas decor.

So I was really excited about my find!

I got 4 stockings!

I love the the fringe, the polka dots and the stripes!

I love it all!

But the best part was that this was the price tag on the stockings.

Yet I only paid $7 each!!

6 more months til Christmas and I am already itching to get the decor out.
